Solmukohta, Helsinki (Finsko)
Stručné informace
Solmukohta (známá i jako Knutepunkt, Knutpunkt nebo Knudepunkt, podle toho, jestli je země konání Norsko, Švédsko nebo Dánsko) je každoroční skandinávské setkání se zaměřením na hraní rolí naživo.
Z původní formy místního setkání se Solmukohta vypracovala na hlavní dějiště spolupráce mezi severskými hráči rolových her. Panelové diskuze, přednášky a dílny jsou zlatým dolem pro hledání nových myšlenek o hrách a organizování her a živnou půdou pro oživení starších myšlenek o těchto tématech. Je překvapivé, kolik starších myšlenek jedné herní skupiny může být inovativních pro jiná uskupení.
Solmukonta není pouze o debatách a seminářích. Jde o možnost potkat zajímavé lidí a vzájemně sdílet společné myšlenky a vize. Jde o společnou zábavu a nalezení inspirace. Součástní setkání je i „A Week in Finland“ – týdenní setkání před samotnou akcí naplněné larpy, setkáními a atraktivními večírky.
Během posledních let celá událost výrazně rozšířila své hranice. Krom hlavních severských zemí jsme v posledních letech mohli potkat i účastníky z USA, Německa, Francie, Itálie, Izraele, Ruska a České republiky. Organizátoři budou rádi, když se tento trend bude rozšiřovat – širší obzory přinesou více myšlenek a lepší vhled do herních scén v rozdílných kulturách.
Takže bez ohledu na zemi původu, bez ohledu na to jestli jste dlouholetý herní nadšenec nebo nováček na scéně larpů, buďte vítání!
CoM na Solmukohtě
Pro letošní ročník je měli tu čest být národním koordinátorem pro Česko a Slovensko. Lidé, kteří plánovali vyjet na tuto akci, mohli řešit všechny případné dotazy na organizátory přes nás. Z České republiky se nakonec akce zůčastnili tri a ze Slovenska dva účastníci.

Na stránkách Solmukohty došlo k některým zásadním změnám. Organizátoři změnili celý grafický layout z původního prostředí baru, skleniček s panákem, pokerových karet a kostek v popelníku na strohý bílý design laděný do „vizí budoucnosti“.
Vyhlásili také poptávku po přednáškách a materiálech do sborníku, takže je zřejmé, že přípravy v Helsinkách jsou v plném proudu.

And welcome to Solmukohta 2008!
It has been just a few weeks since we opened the registration, and the event is nearly full already. If your friends haven’t yet registered, nudge them to our direction to ensure their place at the event of the year. At this time, there are a couple of brief practical things to look at.
Payment
The deadline for payment is March 15. Before the deadline, the registration fee is €110. After the deadline, the registration cost will increase to €120, so the early bird gets to keep more money to buy drinks with at the event.
NOTE: Please note that the deadline is the same for payments coming through country contacts. So, if you are paying through your local country contact, ensure that they’ll be able to send your payment by March 15. (Practically, if you intend to pay through your country contact, please send them the payment by March 10 to ensure that you get the lower rate.)
If you live in Finland (or have a Finnish bank account), please pay the registration fee to 147030-225543 Nordea. The owner of the account is Ropecon ry. Please use reference number (viitenumero) „68″ if paying in Finland.
If you do not have a Finnish bank account, the payment should be addressed to IBAN FI 07 14 70 30 00 22 55 43 SWIFT: NDEAFIHH, account owner: Ropecon ry., bank: Nordea. Please put your name on the message field to ensure that we’ll recognize your payment.

Accomodation
We’d love to hear who you want to share a room with (as well as the persons you don’t want to share a room with) to ensure that you’ll get the best possible accommodating arrangements. You can edit your registration details by contacting us at caretaker@solmukohta.org.
Theme
The theme for this year’s event is Looking Ahead. What it means is that we want to explore the future of the hobby, the artform, as well as these events together with you. What will role-playing look 20 years from now? In what kind of Solmukohta events will we be discussing it? The theme of looking to the future is evident in everything we do at Solmukohta 2008, from the lectures and events to the now annual books that help pass on information from our current games and thoughts to future role-players. Most importantly, the theme has always been present when we meet new people and explore new ideas at the event.
Of course, we will also be Looking Ahead during the gala dinner on Saturday. Wear an Outfit of Tomorrow fitting for the Brave New Worlds, as-of-yet Uncharted Galaxies and Foods Man Was Not Meant to Eat we arelooking forward to.
Program
The panels, lectures and workshops of these events are a goldmine for finding new ideas about gaming and game organizing, and for floating old ideas around – it is a wonder how many old ideas in one gaming culture are found to be a novelty in another.

Místa na Solmukohtu jsou plná. Lze se již přihlásit pouze do náhradnického seznamu. Z Česka dle všeho pojedou tři účastníci a ze Slovenska dva.
Pokud se nedostanete, tak nemusíte zoufat, z celé akce určitě napíšeme reportáž, kterou si budete moci přečíst na serveru larpy.cz

Beta verze programu pro Solmukohtu byla uvolněna a je na webu. Pokud tedy máte zájem alespoň nahlédnout, o čem letošní Solmukohta bude doopravdy, tak máte jedinečnou příležitost na stránkách akce.
